Hey man - finished that portrait of your character over in my SB - you haven't posted in a bit! Keep posting those sketches! If you can manage, definitely scrape together the cash for a tablet - you won't be sorry!

    I'M BACK!

By the Gods! It has been a long time. I have still been working on my art, but submitting it to Deviant art. Anyway I have decided to expand to post to both DA and CA.org. However, unfortunately most of my art exceeds the maximum filesize of the site, so I will upload what I can. Everything else will be on Deviant Art.

That latest landscape thing is pretty cool. Did you paint it, or is it 3D?

The orc needs to do some studies / practices -.- So that will be next uploaded... if I don't become sidetracked.

I stumbled across this: http://conceptart.org/forums/showthr...nation-The-RPG : and decided to do something similar with some friends of mine. Anyone interested PM me maybe?

Anatomy studies weeeee! I find the box method doesn't work very well for me. I find it easier to just sit down and start drawing, and then check if the body is in proportion etc. Although I did find that the method the German artist "Bammes" used was quite effective and somewhat worked for me... I think....
    Criticism is welcome And wanted.

I can definitely tell you are having fun, which is really awesome. The more you explore and experiment with ideas and methods the better you are going to get. When doing anatomy studies make sure you are using good reference. Are you working from a specific book? Keep having fun.

I was using a series of tutorials off Deviant Art for some of them. Majority of them are from imagination. I'm going to try and find some references.

Hey thanks for stopping by my sketchbook!!! Everything is looking sweet so far. I like alot of your ideas!! Remember to hit up some perspective studies!! Then apply them to everything you see when your out in the real world YOu got to always be thinking about art and you will improve. At times you dont even have to be drawing and you will imporve. It has to become part of your flesh and thoughts at all times Keep going!!!

Something I came up with while doing concept for magic effects for another piece. And a short story / quote to go with it.

    Name: Witch.jpg
Views: 223
Size: 213.0 KB

( :: "Magic warps and changed the user's body, as such those who have been exposed for a prolonged time will appear different to that which is normal. It is unknown to many how individuals actually come to bear these powers or where they draw it from. It has been speculated by some that magic is solid thought or a projection of one's mind. Whereas some suggest a more theological approach. We mere mortals shall never know truly." :: Vizier Al'kadur's opinion of Magic. )
