AndreRuben: that´s an interesting take on it. A zombie rat catcher?
KarylGilbertson: Now that I would like to see.
Here´s my first WIP: Straight zombiefication for now. Maybe I will come up with a more interesting concept later (We´ve got two weeks after all)

Is decay open to any form, i.e. a robot zombie of myself rusted, busted and decaying...?

Ooooh, very interesting, SP ChoWs usually turn out great!
I was actually thinking of doing a Zombie-SP for International Selfportrait Day on Nov 1st, since I don't have a lot of time the next few weeks... But for everyone else this should be a nice warm-up. Go, Go, Go!

Besides, it probably won't stack up to yours anyway, don't think I haven't seen you killin' it in these threads.

OK so my first go at a WIP is attached. Working top-downwards on the linework so the bottom half is barely done.
Really enjoying this so far though, and looking forward to seeing some more art!

When I told my hubby what you guys were doing for CHOW this week, he got so excited that I couldn't NOT participate. So here I am with a shiny new account and my very first WIP
Not a super exciting pose, but I'm treating this as an exercise in proportion/anatomy (feeeeet s.o.s!!) and painting skills. Plus it'll be the first time I paint a wok and a rat. Wooohooooo!

As usual, i get past the construction phase, add in some lines and get stumped/frustrated by shading.
