here are a couple of still lifes i did recently. fun, small, and non commital. i spent about 1-2 hours on each, give or take...
wow. these are really nice. i like the composition on the bottom two, but the teapot is also very satisfying, though for other reasons. are those sugar tongs?
thanks for sharing.
yeah those are nice. I like the tea pot. I ike the roughness of the strokes in the backtground. cool stuff. Were they done wit hoills or acrylics?
There is nothing wrong with using a photo to help you see things.
No one complains about life drawing,
so take a photo.
its easy, and will improve your piece greatly."
all oils...i dont really paint with acrylics much these days. acrylic is like drawing with a brush, theres not enough finesse to it...dont get me wrong, i love acrylics, but they have their place....oils just give way more subtlety i terms of edges...
visually these delight me, but your skills anger me.
mac daddy coro strikes again!
man you are too damn good. you're going to be one of those people whose paintings are getting dusted off and restored 500 years from now.
I really love all the colors and especially how you've captured all those reflections in the tea pot..i love it!...
