    Looking for transparent inks

    Hi,

I bought some inks without giving it so much attention, but I should have. I ended up with acrylics inks, and that was so not my kind of ink at all.. Just so I don't buy more ink that I can't use.. Which ones are transparent and kind of "thin"?

Most varieties that don't say "acrylic ink" are usually transparent. Pelikan has some bright, rich colors that are definitely transparent. Higgins has transparent colors, but they tend to be watery/washed-out-looking. Windsor Newton inks are excellent, but a bit expensive. I'm personally rather fond of "Luma" inks, they have very concentrated bright colors - but transparency varies.
