Schaal - Finished illustrations - updated

Hi there. On this thread, I will share some of my recently published illustrations with, when is possible, some steps on my work process.

The first one, my vision on Hannibal Lecter, for a Brazilian weird science/pop culture magazine called Mundo Estranho (Strange World).

Hi Pavel, It`s a brush based on the dry media brushes in PS. With some adjustments of scattering to simulate the pencil/charcoal feel.

I really dig the texture work you have going on there. I especially like the second one, the one with the girl. Hannibal is also awesome, I like how your got his eyes to pop out of the painting like that. Really inspiring work !

    Some Matte Paintings

Hi, I am publishing here, 2 of many matte paintings that I did for a full 3D CG commercial film at Vetor Zero (a major VFX house in Sao Paulo).
I had an incredible help from Ricardo Riamonde, one of the Vetor Zero`s resident digital artists on this job.

You can check more on this project here: Link

One of five illustrations that I did for a shot-stories book to be released in early 2011.

I really like to work in black and white.
