You have lots of exciting stuff to look at here, and the red sketchbook is great, I might have to make my own now...

@Trixtar: Thank you, yeah I didn't even have to make it myself, I could buy it like this at the store

Time for a new update, this time not only sketchbook stuff!

First thing is a commission for a client

Some sketchbook scans (you could view these in the little movie too)

And I took ages on this mermaid picture!
Currently I am actually experiencing health problems once again, this time it is my mouth (my gums to be exact). After a dentist visit something went wrong and now it is hurting a lot when I chew :< I can only chew with one side now... *sigh*
If it hasn't gone away by Monday I will have to go back >_>

And I am taking so long into finishing this lolol

Other than that I am pretty frustrated, I have a new annoying neighbour that smokes on the balcony and it enters the bedroom and living room :/
And my arm is getting slightly painful again D=

I know you said that last one was finished, but it could really do with some atmospheric colour. Just like a blue filter over the top or something.

Haven't been here in a while but it's great to see that you've kept trucking on, I think it would be good if you did some more studies next to your own stuff too but definitely is more important that you enjoy it and dont stress yourself out over it. Nice updates!

didn't feel like updating for a while, but here I am now lol

@Ajams, yeah I 'finished' it quickly, a filter over it would have been a good idea indeed.

@Dennis: yeah I really should go back to studying more seriously. I have been neglecting that for a while

Anyway, quick update now, here are some sketchbook pages:

And a work in progress I started yesterday

I also really got into crocheting but that is not very related haha (still putting together this blanket: https://www.instagram.com/p/BsUA87mBoZo/ )

Hello Sushy, you have a lot of "life" in your work, very lively vibes with the characters and shapes. Also that is a pretty rad blanket.

It's nice to be back after a few years of absence. New eyes and a refreshing feel. I will try to stay motivated and focused, draw some sketches at least twice in a week for start. You have been around for so long, one more year and it's a 10 year anniversary. Also good to see you live on your yt channel, great euphoric enjoyment, meeting you like it's in person. Thank you for staying here and being consistent. Hope we will stay and motivate each other further on.

Awesome stuff, love that sketchbook page. Especially that drawing of the girl sitting is very well done, liking the birdy too. I'd still like to see a bit more studies but again enjoying it is most important Keep trucking!

@LtPlissken: Thank you so much! I am also glad you watched my videos, it took me much effort to make them

@Dennis: Yeah I am still working on the same study and it is still not ready yet, I am not as fast as I used to be. I hope I can show it in the next update.

So yeah my day was absolutely shit. There has been a crime committed against me in 2018 (december). Police is doing nothing and today I had to deal with the aftermath. Means I will have to make a lot of phone calls tomorrow *sigh*
It also means today I wasted much time on panicking. So here are some old sketchbook pages and the phoenix picture that hopefully is finished now.

A crime committed against you!?! My oh my, what happened if it's not a secret?
Your drawings look great, and the Phoenix is gorgeous hope you had a great time finishing it.
Watched your last garden / flower presentation video the last you have uploaded and I can tell you it made a relaxing soothing
impression on me, make more videos and drawings, I enjoy them both.

@LtPlissken: Ok I guess I really have to update now! I stopped checking CA a while after the downtime and I had some things going on which made it hard for me to focus. The crime that was committed against me was a fraud. It seems it is finally cleared up now but it took me so many phone calls and a police report. I am glad you liked the videos, I feel super awkward when I make one haha. I actually filmed a new one about the garden (well balcony and indoor garden). Still have to transfer it to the computer and edit it.

Ok not so much to show here I guess. I have been drawing in my sketchbook, doing client work (currently dealing with a really difficult client which stresses me out oh my gosh), creating comics and some pixel-ing. Here is some:

    Name: 1b.jpg
Views: 282

Size: 241.5 KB

    Name: ccbb.jpg
Views: 281
Size: 93.3 KB

just uploading this photostudy here because I do not have the motivation to work on it anymore
    Name: icon1c.gif
Views: 279
Size: 6.3 KB

And here is a little pixel thing that I have been working on again. I also did some illustrations...

    Name: ivyyy2019.jpg
Views: 281
Size: 485.9 KB

    such as this bunny

Gosh I hope times will become a bit easier :V

Nice Work, I am so proud, what do you say we take over control over Concepart org? You and me for start?
Because the last leaders were good till certain point, then they failed big time. We are here to rebuild the things that
their failed. I need you on this one. And a few other people.

@LtPlissken: I am not sure, I think it is complex to run a website like this. For example, the whole hosting issue would be complicated (trying to make it unlimited would turn out very expensive too). So I don't think we can take over easily.
    The artwork looks great!

We will think about running conceptart haha, we shouldn't rush any decision
I like the sketchbook pages, as a reminder take care about eyes being always the darkest when pencil shading
    same on humans and animals/cats.
Mecha looks chaotic for name, you should separate the background and the mecha itself on separate layers.
Focus on the Mecha and flesh it out, try to turn it greyscale from time to time to see values and shading are right.
Watched your last yt video, you made miracle knitting results, way to keep up with those videos, and as I said they are so relaxing to watch.
Keep up with the great work, will try to follow. I will try to scan some drawings daily sketches and update till Friday.

LtPlissken well I hope I improved a bit at least. It also depends on what you see as improvement I guess. Indeed I am not really competing right now. It has to do at times, because I have to keep my health in check
