    Illustrators?

Any Illustrators wanna answer some questions?
I was thinking about going into Illustration myself but I'm still kinda unsure....
alsoo these questions are for my senior project

    • Why did you choose this job/career position?
    • How did you get to be here? What schooling, training and/or job experience did you need?
    • Is there anything else you’ve done besides the required schooling, training and/or job experience that you feel has prepared you for your job/career position?
    • How long have you been in this job/career position?
    • How long have you been in this career field?
    • What is required to maintain this job/career position?
    • Do you plan on staying in this position? If not, what other job/career positions are possible in your particular situation?
    • What is it about that job/career position that no one tells you about during the schooling, training and/or job experience. What is it that you only learn once you are on the job?

thanks to anyone who can answer these

Can I ask you a question? What exactly is your senior project, because I'm seeing on the forums - and receiving in my inbox - huge numbers of missives talking about projects that seem to revolve around posting a selection of brief questions and then cut and pasting someone else's efforts as coursework. It's a genuine question - what does a project like this entail?

Also, and I'm not getting at you here, I find that 95% of these requests are from people who are either toweringly ignorant or terminally lazy, in that they can't be bothered to reply and say thanks when you take the trouble to actually respond to them, either via email or on a forum. For that reason I now don't respond to such surveys, or indeed any ad-hoc questions. If that sounds harsh, and assuming you're one of the 5%, then you have only your peers and classmates around the world to blame.

Tell your teacher that professionals in ALL fields HATE this assignment. Seriously. If you think we're mean, you should here some of the things writers and scientists have to say.

    Dear Bottled Manana,

I find your last question disconcerting. Do you know anything of the "Confidential Universal Initiation of Professionals Protocol" (or "Cuipp," not to be confused with "quip"). If you don know of this then you also know that nobody on earth that is not currently a professional can know about this. And if you are not a professional, please mail us with your residential address and the location of your nearest secluded lake/river.

    Many thanks

    Your link doesn't work.
