    Star Wars in 3D

I don't know if anyone has heard, but George Lucas has caught the scent of money and decided that the Star Wars films should be turned into 3D movies.

Simon Pegg's comment is both amusing and on the mark, IMO. Everyone seems to be jumping onto the 3D bandwagon now. Not sure how many other people this applies to, but I just can't watch 3D as it gives me a headache and nausea.

Movies these days are all special effects and no story.

Don't care particularly. But if it works it works, I guess.

I agree. But there are some glimpses of hope - like The Road and Coraline.

It makes you wonder why Lucas did think of this when Return of the Jedi was in production. Guess Hollywood was too busy using 3D on horror films, which didn't need it.

@OHI: I would suggest that you check out Ark, a CGI film made back in 2004 by the same people behind FF: The Spirits Within, but with much more substance behind it.

hah, I knew it. I found out most of the movies that were being realeased in 3d were just retro fitted, I said why not star wars, that would add another billion dollars to Lucas's stack. I just hope he doesn't add another musical scene to one of his classics, then I'm just fine.
