    Question hiring models for portraits.

    So i made an advertisement thats says:

    HELLO
    i am looking for models for
    PORTRAIT
    painting-drawing-sculpting
    7€ p/h
    are you interested?
    call <my number>
    or mail to:
    <my email>
    <my name>

    I will place this ad in a dancing school. However i'm not sure what price i should pay per hour, i thought of 7 euros. Would that be enough? Also how much higher should the price be for nude models?
    (i searched for older topics about this but they werent really helpful)

    Hi RLPY

    I do know that at the moment nude models can get anything from £12-£25 per hour so 7Euros might be too little. If you're just doing faces then I reckon that's an ok amount.

    I'd explicitly say whether nudity is required.

    Me too, . Nude models in a lifedrawing class get at least £10 per hour here.

    IF nudity is required I'd make a point of presenting a portfolio suggesting that I'm an artist, not an axe murderer etc.

    If they happened to be a bit new at life modeling I'd totally encourage them to bring their flatmate along for reassurance, I'd try to give them references for people I'd worked with, that kinda thing.

    I'm picking the background music though, deal with it.
