    painter 8 doodle dump..

heres a compilation of some misc doodles made over the past couple weeks of learning the program...

so far, im really liking the graphic bristle (liquid ink), pallette knife and pen tool the most. i hope to actually come up with something "real", pretty soon.

I've had Paiter 8 for some time, but still haven't used it as much as I shouild. What are you using as an input device? Mouse? Tablet?

I've got the wacom Cintiq and it was MADE for painter.

    I regret nothing!

    i have a wacom, 6x8 intuos 2.

yeah, in order to get the full benefits of painter 8 you definately need a pressure sensitive tablet.

I too am using painter 8, although i use a mouse.
Im finding it hard getting smooth lights and darks.(do you use the light and dark function thing)
    Good work keep it up

thanks mr man... you should think about getting a wacom if your gunna get into painter. i didn't use the dark and light function for these, havent tried that tool yet. the bottom one was made using simple different colored pen strokes and then one of the blender tools.
