JuiceHS - thanks so much! I'll make sure to post a process on this one too once complete.

snatti - thanks a ton for the vote!

Jesus Food - heh, Kevin Costner, cinema's tryptophane

Gabrieldnc - Creativity is just looking at your accidents and finding a way to use 'em. Your sketchbook is already hot!

MrScribbles - thanks again! Your SB is really charging along too-

Here's tonight's CHOW work. I think I'll wait on it a day and then look at it with fresh eyes before doing anything else. Lots of adjustments and changes in today's, want to make sure they sit well.

Just found you through the your Zodiac warrior concept. It's one of the strongest pieces with a bold statement out of what I've seen so far. I have enjoyed looking at your entire sketchbook as well. Inspiring for sure. Will subscribe.

Wow, this last work is very cool! It's amazing how it changed from the sketch to finished version.

Yes yes! I thought of shutting off my pc for the night now, but after watching your stuff in here, I need to do a bit more. This was inspiration on a silver platter. No wait, golden.

And by the way, it was your sb avatar that drew me in here, so don't go changing that now! The Zoey poster ended up in my 'memorable conceptart.org-pictures' that I keep for inspiration.

And another update. Reversed the lighting, reworked dagger, detail work in clothing, general cleanup, a better treatment of the lamp, so on and so forth. I kind of like this one! Has a neat, old-fashioned vibe.

Looks old school. I like it. Did you use some kind of grain filter to top it off?

Velocity Kendall - heheh - yeah, I need some more props on my desk to look at

Mr Scribbles - thanks! I have some photos of some weathered blank canvases that I use at a low % with soft light to add some grit, and then work it in a bit

Made an evil Vizier. Gotta have a Genie. A quick scribbly thing for fun tonight.

And now for something completely different. Maaaaaaybe I'll work on this for CHOW this week. Maybe. But I've pretty much been blank for inspiration for 'Steampunk Aphrodite', and this doesn't really fit the brief that well I don't think.

Hoo boy. Too long since I've posted. Swear, I've done some art in the interim! I switched gears a bit and worked on my iPhone game for a bit (check it at my blog! whoo! )

Trying to get another CHOW under my belt. After a false start, I scraped a starting sketch together tonight.

Not even close to done, but I gotta post somethin'!

Lovely work! Dig how much tightness you achieve in your paintings with out going over board with the detail! Very nice ... cant wait to see more!
