Divna was a woman killed by lightning in the field, which is a reason why I depicted her as a fallen tree. In the nature lightning usually strikes at tall trees. My intention was to show her tragic death by compositional means. Four upright trees underline the fact that one is cut off, ie. dead. Position of the body and slightly oversized proportion are making Divna look like a fallen trunk. She is holding two poppies, which are symbol of death, and when you take a closer look, you see that these two flowers are pulled out by the roots, not just picked up, so the whole plant is forever dead.
