I am getting ready to submit my applications to some grad school programs for MFA in Illustration.
Now that I have several months ahead of me before apps are due, I'd like to know what kinds of things really stand out in a graduate portfolio, so I can work my best to exhibit them in my own.
My humble portfolio is here now: http://erinmcmanness.daportfolio.com/, though many of those pieces will not be shown to the schools I'm applying to. I know it is very weak at the moment, so I'd like some advice on what to include to strengthen it.
Any advice would be deeply appreciated.
