Nice detail! Your strokes seem to be becoming lighter. I would make the smudging more subtle just because its distracting from those nice lines at the moment. Looks like you're still life drawing! Awesomeness.

I'll be interested to see how the bust drawing comes along, as I was going to suggest you work more on your basic forms and incorporated that into your drawings. Think 3D all the time because you seem to be playing lip service to it at the moment.

I see improvement, definitely, from your earliest works. Keep going and studying!

Ceinwen Fang- hey pixie, where ya been? doing good? Since ive swung back to foundations and traditional stuff im playing with line weight and stroke technique as this is stuff ive never looked into at any point before. Smudging too is a new venture so ill take aboard what you said, appreciate it oh...haven't done life drawing since cardiff but going this tuesday and i am stoked.

black spot: definitely trying to hit the life observations a lot more, the bust when on hold as i dont think its the greatest place in my house to have it setup due to the light/space. Also is there a rough distance you can recommend to place your subject away? I found myself squinting a little too much haha

Celadon- i promise, thanks for stopping by :]

This week wasnt as productive as i'd hoped- theres a lot of little doodles, a couple of attempted life studies of people that didnt go to plan and a long slow picture of a friends nephew which isnt too bad yet!

    See you in a sunday

    Will

Good to see you still working away. Mind you I think I infected you with wonky eye syndrome. At least your spitpaints are clearer than mine.
