    Hey, how it's going?
I see that you have some great new updates,
but as I said earlier, better do some basic stuff
first before you go into advanced.
    Take care and keep posting.

For that blue head on stone building thing, you shuld have snagged some reference for it.
not only will it make your image turn out BETTER, it will make the problem solving go faster and hopefully speed up the entire piece.

There are some things that are wrong as I'm sure you know, but instead of tryin to just list them out. Here is some ref I got in like 30seconds that could have helped you with ideas, even still help you.
Just find the horizon line, and how much distortion the camera is giving and then steal the whole image if need be. Just learn from it yknow?

mmh very unique point of few :p. Wonder where you will reach with it and what will come out later through it. For improvement I could say, keep doing what you do, just maybe do it more =) If you have the time for it.

I can do so little in so much time!

you are doing well buddy, I would say one thing about the head. If you are going to overlay a texture like that (stone in this case) then overlaying a texture over the whole piece won't add depth, it will do the opposite. This sort of "noise" will just distract the eye from the solid forms. If you use texture then try and only use it in the right places, where it is visible on the form. For example in deep shadow you rarely find obvious texture so it is best to erase the texture from any places of depth.

Anyway you are doing well, just keep going, and perhaps do a few more master copies and traditional studies. I know you like to do your own thing but sometimes you just have to do things you don't want to in order to improve

    Hey man,

Most people here are saying what Im thinking - study more from life, and anatomy. Take your sketchbook on a field trip, go out and just sketch your ass off, dont be afraid to make mistakes or what people may think about you drawing out in the open. Life studies will vastly increase your own reference "library" in your head. Keep at it!

    THIS REQUIRES MORE PYLONS

Not sure why i thought of that but i did. Good work but like everyone before me said and after me will say more studies.

Cool paint bro, keep going, I would say make one of the colours darker in value, so that we can see the forms better. The peach colour for example could be darker.

Take a look here at some basic info on values.. http://painting.about.com/od/colourt...assTones_7.htm

    hey qlotzan,

you are updating like mad! Keep this workrate up and you will one of the pro's in no-time

As a crit: your drawings lack 'mass' because they usually don't have a well defined light-source. I'd advice you to read this website: http://www.huevaluechroma.com/ and learn it by heart.

    Keep it up!
