I hope to do so once my skills back up my form and organic perspective.
I hope to have those be more of the norm of what I do. Though I still want my craft to be based in linework.

Kay. So been doing some stuff to improve the confidence of my lines.
Here are just a few figure drawings out of the bunch of doodles I have.
I expect to be posting ink traces I've been practicing with soon.

    Comments are welcome ^_^

Keep doing those head studies. I would suggest perhaps getting an anatomy book to study the planes of the face/head and learn the underlying structure of the skull. Right now, your heads are lacking the correct forms because you're not drawing the heads with them in mind.

    Chaser226:
So I went ahead and took your advice.
I'm strengthening my base elementals for things like the head.
Working in planes is something I haven't done in a long time. It's a mistake to not have done so.
But I'm very sure I'm obtaining the lesson well.
Please let me know if you have any comments.

    somnia:
why thank you. I'll sure be posting a whole lot more studies and figure drawings as my fundamentals are in need for me to do such things.
I hope to be able to offer you some advice of worth one day.

I sort of feel bad posting nothing but these little pchat sketches.
Well, soon that might change. One needs to build confidence. Especially after having redone technique. I apologize. Though I am enjoying myself.
Here you are. A single for today...

So, I'm back from the dead. I have a good machine of my own now and intend to do consistent work. But we'll see how that goes. Anyway, I was thinking about practicing compositions. Then I thought, "hey, it's almost Thanksgiving! What am I thankful for?"

So if you have any comments on composition or how to really express what I'm thankful for, I am all ears.

So after a few good words of advice from all of you, I have chosen my focus and have started to really structure my studies. I will be working with Speculative genres.

I'm starting myself gently with a few 10 minute value studies. Here's one of them. No critiques on these yet. I don't consider these to be anything but a bridge into the real concepts I'll be posting, which I'm going to encourage plenty of critique on.

I figured out that blood is actually a little harder to gesture than I first though.
(note for future work to everyone: my eyesight is pretty poor so I have a very hard time with textures)
