Good work! You have great imagination! My only suggestion is to keep studying for life to get a better sense of color. A few of your pieces have muddy color, as opposed to vibrant and strong color schemes.

Keep it up! I love your progress!

Your enviros are looking great, and you're improving so much on this page alone, but I would suggest trying to push yourself beyond your comfort zone, and do some anatomy/facial studies

keep up the good work though!

    cheers

    ...the imperfections make it interesting...

your first pieces looked rather flat, the new ones are really starting to get depth to them. You definately improved a lot.

I really enjoy reading your threads and your sketchbook; even though you have clear anatomical and perspective issues (all that annoying stuff I am struggling with as well ) yet you try things like the viking castle and I find that very impressive, as you take critique on board very well and are not shy to start and entirely different sketch after a suggestion made.

Really cool. Will subscribe to this. /bow

Oghren: Thank you very much! The last pictures were made with the help of conceptart.org!!! Im so happy to get here so much good advice and feedback!
The others before were made without any help... only imagination (also without references... mostly)!

LordLouis: As I said before, I take feedback very seriously! Want to get better, and I know I get that help here! I know I make mistakes, and more eyes see usually more than my ones. ^^ Im glad you like that!

    here some new stuff:

Very cool and imaginative stuff! It's good to see some figure studies in there, you can tell they've been helping you improve. Keep on doing them cause they are definitely making a difference.

"This is a paint and pixel-splattered furnace that forges the swords of artistic mastery. This is a place where swarthy and belligerent dwarves drink turpentine mead, berate their apprentices and slap the trade into their skulls. It's where the anvils are made of graphite, the hammers are as true as rectangular marquee selections and the fires burn with the light of a thousand lensflares." --Jason Rainville

Wow, so many things are happing in this thread! that's so cool! I like your environments most. I wish I would improve so fast XD
But sometimes the colours look a bit off, play more with values and contrasts. You are doing such lively scenes, bring your colours to life too. That's my critique ar moment.
Paintings like the selfportrait in your latest posting and some more lifepaintings will help you a lot!

    oh, Thank you Valyavande!
    I feel flattered ^^
... but yeah... I have some trouble with colours! I usually start with a greyscale picture to fix the values soon... but its always a challange for me!
I will do my best to improve faster! Some lifepaitnigs should help, yes

I think my environment is nearly finished (pic 1/3)
