Digital Painting - From the beginning till yet + pencil sketches

    Hey guys!

My name is Gangl Simon and Im from Austria.
I love drawing very much till my birth. (I hope I make not to many mistakes in the english language, I pfrefer german )

yeah, I started digital painting in fall 2008. What I really like at digital painting is the high posibility, what u can do, but I also know, that there are much more deatails and helps to make good pictures...
Maybe some of u can give me some useful tools or sth else...

Hello Gangl, you have some good ideas here...

I think you should develop some skills about tools usage, and about some painting techiniques.... in my case, sometimes I make the paintings manually before going digitally...

    keep going

    Hello,

You have some good ideas in your sketch, I think you should practice rendering effects and some techiniques for digital painting....

    See you and best regards,

thank your pauloricardo for your comment!
The last few images are more or less "speedpaintings" and it wasn´t important for me to draw exactly... only how the colours worked together and if you can feel the mood in that painting (the icy mountain, the black castle on the cliffs, the desert with the karawane)

but I will try getting better
So I started here to get some feedback and useful advices thank you!!!

Hi! If you want people to visit your sketchbook,
make these files you upload as small as possible.
The best would be if they would be jpg
    with 200kb at most.

About the works I can say that you have quite
some imagination, just work a bit more on rendering,
natural colors (by studying from nature) and you'll
    improve even quicker.

    hey simon,

    Rebecca
