Is there a way to do free transforms with a wrap like tool just as you can in photoshop? So far the transformations that I have been able to see are limited to the bounding box and most objects are not quite deformable with just a box.

Use the "xPerspective Tiling 4P" cloner brush which will allow certain transform type effects with a tile/wrap effect.

    Best,

That one is okish, but I am looking to be able to bend the edges as if they were flexible. There is a transform grid that does that exactly in photoshop, I was just wondering if there is a similar one - maybe an additional effect - for painter.

Thanks a lot for the tip tho, just not exactly what I am looking for.

Well, free transform for Painter in Photoshop manner is exist but it is kinda tricky and not so obvious. And it is not so hard, of course.

    1. Press Ctrl + T.
    2. Choose any corner point you want to drag and press and hold ALT.
    3. Move mouse marker to the corner point of transform selection until it change to solid black arrow.
    4. Release ALT
    5. Drag your point the way you want.
    6. Repeat step 2.

    You are welcome.
