    They have awakened!

    hey fellow ca.orgers! it's been a long time since i've posted around here. i'm constantly amazed by how much inspiration i gain by coming visiting this site. just gonna throw down one image this time because all my professional stuff is in production limbo and awaiting a release date or two.

    this is an illustration for a personal side story i'm working on about a clan of scavengers and mechanics that live on the outskirts of a ruined city now reduced to a landfill. they accidentally awaken an armada of ancient giant robots and it's up to the champion of their people to take them down! hope you like!

    I like the old school sci fi look the robots in this piece. Nice and dynamic shot and the detail looks great.

    thanks guys. appreciate the comments. i was definitely shooting for kind of a low-fi vintage look for the robots. tends to be my favorite sort

    I like it although I'm not sure if the white bits are supposed to be rain or scratches on the material. If it's rain I'd mark the ground up a little to show rain drops hitting the surface. If it's scratches I'd lighten them up a little bit.
