I'm looking for suggestions on where I can good reference material with Egypt as the subject. I'm primarily on the look out for images of palace interior architecture. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Hey Arin,

I too am working on an egyption project in my own time, for interiors and exteriors of all kinds of places in egypt check out 360cities . c o m . Download a printscreen program (deluxe printscreen) and search for places in egypt there. Also I think the discovery channel has quite a few dvds on the subject (havent looked into that yet) which could be handy.

Failing that, you could do a search on amazon for interiors of palaces and see what you can find. Haha, I am currently reading throgh 'egyptian guide for dummies' book to get aquainted with there ways slowly. good luck!

Barnes and Noble. I have at least 8 books on Egypt sitting on my reference shelf, none of them cost me more than $7-10 at the stand right before the checkout counter.

I second what Black Ark said. Books.I found quite a bit the same way Ark did. You'll probably find more reference that way and not start using the same crap people find in google or websites. Need to look about and get as much as you can.

Where are you located? You might be near a museum with a collection of Egyptian antiques - check that.

Otherwise, history books are a good idea.
