    Final Fantasy XIII Lightning prototype

    Final Fantasy XIII
    Lightning

Resin cast (except for the boots) of my own sculpture

Sculpted in clay, paper, milliput, plaster, anything i could get my hands on. She's made in 24 separate bits, i think, so that she could be moulded and colour casted.

Moulded in Silcone with concrete and plaster jackets.
    Cast in resin.

23cm tall from head to feet, which just under 1:8 scale

I'm doing this project to improve my sculpting and modelling and finalise my mouldmaking and casting techniques. This is an untouched cast with a few air bubbles, scratches and mould lines. As you can see I was impatient to photograph as her left hand was left out.

Any opinions, questions, or critiques are very welcome

Wow, this is cool. You really have put some work into this. Lots of details. I love all the little straps and buckles on the pockets and stuff. Lots of hours in this one. Love to see a finished pic.

thanks a lot mate, I've just finished her cape's clasp, am working on her sword's satchel mould and will have the boots finished tomo I hope. Once I've moulded and cast the boots, satchel and clasp I'll post a black and white version of her again, can't wait to see the results!

weee, just come back from the studio. The boots are almost finished, just need a tiny bit of cleaning up. May have every thing done by the weekend!
