I am looking forward for more reference pictures. Hard to find spraycan girls posing in front of a (legal ?) wall during working on their artwork.
(most of them don't want to show their face on a photograph in front of a wall) ;-)
I kudos you for doing majority of your studies in pen/ink. Your sketches are awesome and very stylized!! Can't wait to see more. Please post more

@ soros; Hi! I'll ask someone to take some pictures of me, when I go spraying again. The wall is a legal one yes.
@ Mush Pon; Aw thanks! I try to update a few times a week. The pen and ink really helped me I think, even when I do graphite drawings I hardly erase anymore.
Update: personal sketches and really quick stuff for image sequence (comic drawing)

You have a wicked style! I love seeing originality come forth in every piece of work like that. I'm definitely going to watch your updates. Your inks are great, IMO, I would love to work more with inks (i have a huge erasing problem)! Okay, will check back later. Keep drawing!

@ Abnormally; Hi! Thank you for the compliments , I use the pentel ink brushes for ink sketches, really nice to work with.
@ towy; thanks!
@ oma; hey! Our easels at school all have wheels.. Don't yours? Will reply in your book someday, but I'm kinda busy . I probably don't have the time to make this update, but I'm doing it anyway I liked doing those structure studies of the horse as well, unfortunately there's not much time for those kind of studies, since I'm not able to use those for school.

I'm going to recreate one of these "sculptures" for a school assignment. (kinda like this, but a different one), I made the body and now I have to make the head, put them together, coat them in resin and throw sand agains it

And here's an update with mostly stuff that I still had to scan and photograph.
homework for image sequence (comic drawing) I think I should have paid more attention to my lines.

Great to see that you're using different mediums! These sculptures reminded me of an art exhibition I saw in Germany: Aneta Grzeszykowska. Searched her figures online and found the old exhibition catalogue: http://www.hdkv.de/media/mgz/2010/HD...ykowska_10.pdf
Keep on using different mediums!
Yay more! What is the best way to transition from graphite to pen/ink in your opinion? I'm stuck on the graphite, but afraid to make the move.

Hello I've been quite busy and sadly didn't take the time to put my images online here. There's still a lot that I didn't photograph, I might do that next monday.
@ surus; thanks for the link! And yeah well I'm pretty much forced to use different mediums through school anyway hihi.
@ Mush Pon; I think I replied in your sketchbook, I feel flattered that you ask me such a question but I'm not sure if I know enough of it to answer well.

I would like some input on these next images. They are supposed to be promotional items for the city of Utrecht. The Illustration teacher failed me on the class so I'm going to have to do these better. The only one that was good enough was the T-shirt he said, the other items (plastic ball, beer coaster, sugar stick and bag) I have to redesign. Any advice is appreciated.
I picked lines from poetry about Utrecht to accompany the slogan, which is "Utrecht, is it true that .... ?"
I'll translate the text in the images below.
Attachment 1087683 Attachment 1087682
poetry: "a billboard radiates violent poster colours over the glowing square"
slogan: "Utrecht, is it true that you glow?"
(this one is quite boring, just a ball with some bridges and water, so I guess I'll need to liven it up)
poetry: "Monsters live in the canal, and they are us"
slogan: "Utrecht, is it true that ink flows through the canals?"
poetry: "Miffy had a strange dream..."
slogan: "Utrecht, is it true that you inspire?"
poetry: "Today this street will shine itself"
slogan: "Utrecht, is it true that you beam?"
(I really dislike this one already, it was made in a hurry and I think it's crappy)
poetry: "In this park I saw my little ponies galloping"
slogan: "Utrecht, is it true that you live?"
YAY! Marleen's back! Always loved your style m'dear, and what a great mix of stuff you've already got here!
