This is absolutely crazy-good. If you ever do an exhibit in LA, please mention it!! My email: mlopezart@yahoo.com

I love the amount of work you put to achieve this. This is a whole new art form, I suggest you do lots more to get the word out about this technique. It can definitely spawn further developments into how even Photoshop or other software can achieve this same technique all on their own. You keep the rights to the method though.

Original and inspiring work. I have been truly entertained over the last few days staring at your work - thank you for that. I also hope to purchase a print.

Wow, thanks folks, I am truly flattered. *blush*

devilminer - The process that I showed was somewhat of a meandering path where I may have made more work for myself and I have since been playing around with skipping some of the steps and refining the method more. I'll be sure to post updates as they are made.

I have also been thinking a lot about how one could generate these sorts of images procedurally and animate them in real-time in a 'music visualization' fashion and also be able to pump in vectors or bitmaps that are integrated into the whole extrusion scheme.

Thank you for the process shots/descriptions. Very helpful. It can be quite a challenge to successfully work in both 3d and 2d apps.
