    Humanoid

What concept artist's portfolio is complete without a four-armed alien?

I've been wanting to try this for a long time. It's really fun to exaggerate human musculature in whatever way seems interesting and eye catching.

I was hoping to create a character who seemed intense and dangerous, but still having a cold intelligence.

I'm planning on doing a companion illustration of this guy, but all suited up with alien armor and weapons. I hope to take on more of this kind of work in the future.

Love his design, the colour really makes him feel cold and intelligent like you wanted. The colouring is so intense, it almost looks like metallic paint. Which is awesome.

Would love to see how this progresses, very curios to see the land that this guy lives in.

I also meant to post the sketch. The feet were reworked somewhat in the final.

I love it, although personally I'd make his toes a little bigger or have a large toe on the back of his foot for support. Other than that awesome design and musculature.

Love the way you rendered this, he looks like he's be slightly damp to the touch, but not wet. Really well painted.
