Hello CA, I'm going to be applying to colleges in a couple of months to attempt to get in a good Entertainment Design/Arts course.
Critique would be greatly appreciated. I felt my previous project was lacking in smooth transitions of the progress from sketch to final, so there's a bunch of kinks in there I'm gonna try to fix this second time around.
The plot is a story based on segments of the book Enemy At the Gates of Tania Chernova(a sniper in the Battle of Stalingrad), and some bits of history of the Soviet pilot Lydia Litvak. Its going to have an extra spin on it, as the events are going to be placed in a fictional, alternate world built from scratch. My goal with the visual development is going to be to attempt to make a WWII story work in a fantasy setting.
1. thumbnail sketches for an insect-like mount representing the German Junkers Ju-87 dive bomber, or stuka:
If one set of doodles is probably a bit scanty to try and gauge what I'm trying to do with this, I'm going to be posting more new drawings as they come along.
2. Some stuff from the previous project
A post-apocalyptic story of an abandoned city with human-like, mutated creatures.

I really like your idea of working out a WWII story in a fantasy setting.
For some reason I especially like the insect thumbnails, real great.
I am looking forward to see more stuff!
Sorry for my crappy English
Looking for tips and tricks
Thanks for the comment M-Studios!
Here are some more sketches, now that I kinda have an idea of what I'm doing from the thumbs I decided to do some silhouettes to see what I can do with this thing:
Then I Did some more finalized /detail sketches:
I like your character thumbnails!
The detailed sketches for the insect are impressive
