    Probably should've just posted my Starcraft practices in this post but here's a link to some Protoss I drew couple months ago. Mainly did this for mileage! Must get better!!!

    I would be really nice to have some translucency in the creatures wings, that would give a good feeling to the flesh that is being represented.

    Thanks for the crit! I've been looking up translucent reference images and will be applying it to the fins. Couple people have been telling me to give it some translucency.

    As an illustrator you're headed in the right direction, but if you are also wanting to be skilled in more traditional art forms, then you need more practice. The futuristic suits felt to me more like a hard plastic shell than rounded metal.
