    ~Rebeckas Sketchbook~

Hi all! New to this and hoping to get some feedback..I'm 18 and I love drawing... These sketches are done with colourpencils, wich I almost always use.. Hoping to do some work with Wacomtablet soon, never done that before so I´m really excited to learn some new stuff!
    Take care..!

you are really good, and sure you can do your best with one wacom tablet, but never forget the traditional painting and drawing.
keep drawing, that's a good start.
    see u in the way!!!

Best you stop painting with a mouse, because when you have a tablet you will see how different it is

Your stuff looks pretty good, how long are you painting? Looks really like you love your stuff. I love the skull-face very much and it's cool to see somebody drawing with colored pencils.

    Keep that stuff up!
    Greetings,

    Flo

Yeah she likes HIM! I like HIM, too! Good updates!
For a Wacom you should try to get the money for a Intuos 3 or 4. They are by far the best ones you can buy under Cintiq's and other Tablet PC's. Intuos 4 are the newest ones, but the Intuos 3 is also pretty good and professional. I have a Wacom Bamboo Fun M (A5 Wide) and it's okay. It does what it should do and works pretty decent. But there's a step between Bamboo and Intuos, if I had enough money there would have never be the question to go for a bamboo or Intuos, I would buy a Intuos directly.

Heyho! I really like your style! The only thing I have to criticize is the chin of your friend. It looks like her weight is 150 kg. But only the chin. I like the first and last image better than the portrait. Really like the way you did that shoe Keep it up!

    Heeey!
Really nice sketches And paintings so far! Looking great!
When you buy you wacom, don't buy one in the size a6. It should be a5 or a4.
I got a intuos 3 a4 now and its great!

    Greetings and go on!

Death and the portrait of your friend for her birthday are looking great but my biggest critique is, Rincewind shouldn't be casting magic!

in my opinion, try not to use the burn/dodge tools in photoshop. actually pick your colours-- it gives you more control over what you're doing. either way, you probably shouldn't go digital just yet. fill up a sketchbook with the things that you see around you to get practice, and not just finished things either. simple gesture drawings and the like will help you far more than a million bajillion finished drawings.

as far as commentary on the actual work, some of your drawings are super cute, but some of your figures are really, really inconsistent. taking to gesture drawing and life drawing will help that significantly.

    good luck. :]

Beautiful line work! You definetly have a style of your own. Just keep working on very basic stuff like perspective and proper construction and you'll rock very soon!

Hello there, I quite like your style!
Good to see you're practicing realism too though.
Not much to say in the way of critique so just keep up the good work and perhaps slide in a few studies or two
