OK, I just thought of something. I don't think the mermaid's breasts would float that much.

gosh, why do I keep going around critiquing breasts...

    Hi guys and gals!

here's my recent work, I think I'll work on it within a week or even more. I want to add a lot of details to it. it's my first attempt to draw steampunk and I want it to be one of my biggest and most detailed work... trying to work on my patience

I absolutely love your character designs and color work. Everything in this sketch book is interesting to look at. My favorite is definitely the albinos, a simple red and white color scheme there looks brilliant and vibrant in it's own way. I hope I can do work half this good someday
Hey man! Thanks a lot for these kind words. It's very inspiring for me to read comments like these. ^__^ I'm not sure about albinos color scheme. though I like it, I think that there're not enough colors... maybe I'll add some more later. thank you very much!

thank you very much guys! I'm very glad that I got that much feedback, I never had that on this site...
and what about realistic female portraits... I think I'll do a couple of them but only as "warm up painting" or smth like that. I'm going to try something new, painting brutal guys, creatures, armor and other stuff because I feel like I'm stuck with that female portraits. I'm not bad at it but I need to go further.

well maybe because breasts sometimes become a main focal point of the painting... and if there's anything not alright with them the whole painting looks like there's something wrong D:

thank you very much for this critic, I completely agree with you! they look like balloons or balls... but on the other hand I seem to like them... dunno what to do

Hello guys. Thanks for all your feedback again!

just study more light and shadows.keep it up=)
yeah you're right! light and shadows are my biggest problems. even bigger than color problem. but I'm working on it

I think I've finished that last painting of a chibi girl with a piggy. Here's the result. Maybe I'll come back to it later, I'm not sure. Right now I just don't want to change anything.

I went to the museum yesterday and this is my result:

and my boyfriend is playing "Tropico 3", sometimes they say that they found a llama with "EL PRESIDENTE" tattooed on her side or a llama approached to eat El Presidente's fave hat... this is kinda fanart of that llama.

and a tiny sketch commission which I did on deviantart:

this is my latest update of the albino circus image. maybe I'll add later some more details and consider it finished.
BTW I'm going to change the crown cos it was a clipart image and I overpainted it too little -_____-

the painting above is sort of wrong. look at his face, and then at his hair. you either need to bring his face forward, or his hair back.

Love your SB, your studies are amazing! I really like the texture on those landscapes too. The albino painting is wicked, but I think it was better without the rainbow scarf and the crown, I think it detracts from it. Also I think the horses head need to come forward or the body back as it looks like they're on the same plane at the moment.

But great body work, I'm not just talking about the mermaid

Nice. Just an opinion but on the albino circus thing I wouldnt give the horse such a colourful scarf, it kind of destroys the beauty of the white/red theme. Also in the commision pic the guys hair looks too high/too much volume. Lower it a bit and tone it down. Keep it up.

thanks a lot for your comment! if only I could receive such critics before I've sent the sketch to client... anyway, it was so cheap that there was no sense to change anything.

Thank you very very very much for this comment! I've changed everything as you said and now I feel quite happy with this painting. And the version with the crown and scarf made me feel miserable.

yeah thanks a lot for this constructive critics! I've changed the scarf. And too high/too big hair on "emoguys" is one of my biggest problems... I draw low bottoms and too big hair -___- but I'll work on it and get rid of it. thank you!

here's an update on albinos stuff, I tried to consider all the critics I received. thanks to all of you guys! I think the image is finished now. maybe i'll clean up the chromatic aberrations, I don't know.

also a HUGE thanks goes to a guy named ClaretCrab he helped a lot with composition.
