If you run into a major block and cannot create new work, chances are you are forgetting what inspires you and need a refresher.
Honestly I believe that if I'm forgetting some inspiration then it means it doesn't have much impact on me anymore. Maybe it's sign that I'm just onto something new. Also sticking to just one fixed pool of inspiration might be a little bit too limiting. Still I decided to making this map out of curiousity just to see what would be the big picture of me. Some things here are a little bit outdated but at some point had strong impact on what and how I create stuff. Very interesting to see it all together.

I did one as well a while back. This isn't complete, by far; missing a number of comics and manga artists that I was into in the past, but not so much now or just couldn't think of or identify.

That took entirely too long and I left out way too many.

I thought I'd post mine as well, I like the idea behind this:

Really good idea - and I'd do it too, if I didn't think that I wouldn't be able to fill up even half of the meme - I don't have a lot of influences, so half the page would just be filled up with a white sign saying "Life in general". But hey, it was really interesting reading through this and seeing what people are influenced by.

I had never heard of these things until I began to get around CA a little more last week. I really had fun making mine, but more fun looking at everyone else's. I had to think really hard about this one and leave out a lot of great artists to choose the ones that really stuck with me - ones that I think about almost everytime I open a blank canvas.

    LOL at the edit comment.

I wanna try making one. But then I guess the artists I would be putting would be similar to Jason's. with a few differences.

Much better then the first one I submitted.

I love these! I just made this one and I think it's pretty accurate, even though I'm not at a high enough skill level for my influences to really show. It felt a bit cliche at times, but it's 100% sincere.

This was pretty fun :3 I picked a lot of things that were big influences when I was getting started. I have been following some of these artists for like a decade.
