    How to register an account:

    1) Type: /msg Nickserv@Services.ThunderCity.Net REGISTER account password email

    2) Then, do what it says. Check your email and type the cookie.

    and your done.

    You can register 4 nicknames to your account.
    to add a second, change your nick and type: /msg nickserv regnick

    to automatically type your authorization press

    MAC USERS:

    If the java doesn't work for you(which it probably won't) there are a few programs.

    SNAK 4 which can be found @ http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/3417

    ShadowIRC which can be found @ http://www.shadowirc.com/

    i cannot offer help for that program since I don't have a mac, so i can only wish you the best of luck.

    Mirc Help

    go to Http://www.mIRC.com and download mirc( http://www.mirc.com/get.html ).

    Once your information has been filled out:
    Full Name: Put Whatever you want.
    Email address: Whatever you want.
    Nickname: What name you want to be seen as
    Alternative: If the nickname you wanted is already taken/in use you'll need a second option.

    Press ok, do not hit connect to server.

    Type in the bar at the bottom of the mirc program:
    /server irc.thundercity.net

    after you type that you will have to wait about 30 seconds or less until you fully connect with the server.
    Once it says "End of /MOTD command." You are connected.
    It with prompt you with a validatation message but it can be ignored unless you are some freaky hacker.

    Now that you are connected you and press:
    /join #conceptart

    Mirc Auto-Joinning
    in the options menu(alt+o) in the IRC section go to preform
    type in:
    /join #conceptart

    Mirc Title Clock
    type in:
    //timerCLOCK 0 1 /titlebar - $!asctime(hh:nn:sstt mmm(m)/ddd(dd)/yy)

    This could be also be useful in the perform menu(view up)

    Mirc server alias
    After awhile typing /server irc.thundercity.net can get annoying

    open up the alias(alt+a), and scroll to the bottom, press enter to start a new line and enter:
    /enter { server irc.thundercity.net}

    make sure both brackets are on.
    Now whenever you want to connect to irc.asylumnet.org you just type /enter

    Common Mirc Aliases
    /me or /action followed by text shows your text in purple and with an * in front. Used to express actions
    - ie: /me hates actions
    /join followed with a #channel allows you to join a channel
    - ie: /join #conceptart
    /quit followed by text turns off irc with a "quit message"
    - ie: /quit my quit message goes here
    /part leaves a channel
    - ie: /part
    /list followed by a subject will search all visiable server channels with the subject text in the channel name.
    - ie: /list anime
    /whois followed by a user name will show you information on the user that will show in the STATUS window
    - ie: /whois d
    /dns followed by the a user name will show you the ip address of the user in the STATUS window(I will post a easier way to do this in the future for experienced IRC users).
    - ie: /dns d
    /topic followed by a channel name will show the current topic of the channel in the channel.
    - ie: /topic #conceptart
    /notice followed by a username and text will secertly msg a user. Text will show up in the users channel.
    - ie: /notice d I'm testing my notice
    /query followed by a username and text will secertly message a user in a query window that will launch in the other users mirc. A better way to do this is to double click on a user's name in the user list and then type in the window that opens.
    - ie: /query davi hello, I'm testing the query system.

    Advanced Mirc Script #1: Advanced User DNS

    A dns finds out the users IP address. Normal IRC launchs it into your STATUS window, but that's annoying. So I made a script that is alittle more hi-tech.

    Enterthe following text into your remote(ALT+R). Make sure you aren't typing on the same line as another script.

    alias dns !.dns $1-
    on 1NS:{ haltdef {
    var %n = $dns(0)
    echo -a * Found %n addresses
    while (%n > 0) {
    echo -a * DNS: $dns(%n) nick: $dns(%n).nick addr: $dns(%n).addr ip: $dns(%n).ip
    dec %n
    echo -a $nick shares ( $+ $comchan($nick,0) $+ ) $+ : $comchan($nick,1) $comchan($nick,2) $comchan($nick,3) $comchan($nick,4) $comchan($nick,5) $comchan($nick,6) $comchan($nick,7) $comchan($nick,8) $comchan($nick,9) $comchan($nick,10)
    halt
    }
    }
    }

    Now when you are in a channel type /dns username
    - IE: /dns d
    * Found 1 addresses
    * DNS: adsl-67-38-252-34.dsl.bcvloh.ameritech.net nick: d addr: adsl-67-38-252-34.dsl.bcvloh.ameritech.net ip: 67.38.252.34
    * d shares (8): #eatpoo #conceptart #conceptdesign #aom #doom3 #dark|room #ps2 #etg

    Exciting isn't it.

    Advanced Mirc Script #1: Advanced Random mp3 player
    in your remote add:

    alias /cmp3 say LastMp3 was:[ $+ %currentmp3 $+ ][ $+ %mp3.length $+ / $+ %mp3size $+ mb/ $+ %bitrate $+ ks]
    alias mp3.count { echo I currently have [ $+ $findfile(%mp3.dir,*.mp3,0) $+ ] mp3s in my mp3 directory. }
    alias mp3.countloud { msg # I currently have [ $+ $findfile(%mp3.dir,*.mp3,0) $+ ] mp3s in my mp3 directory. }
    alias mp3dir { set %mp3.dir $sdir(E:\mp3\,select j00r mp3 dir) | /echo -a ..your mp3 directory is now set to %mp3.dir $+ . }
    alias mp3.play {
    inc %mp3number
    set %mp3 " $+ $sfile(%mp3.dir,select an mp3,davi rules!) $+ "
    if (%mp3 == $null) { halt | unset %mp3 } | else { run %mp3 }
    set %mp3.length $remove($replace($duration($calc($mp3(%mp3).length / 1000)),mins,m,min,m,secs,s,sec,s),$chr(32))
    say 14* Media--Mp3:[ $nopath($remove(%mp3,.mp3))  $+ [ $+ %mp3.length $+ / $+ $round($calc($file(%mp3).size / 1048576),2) $+ mb/ $+ $mp3(%mp3).bitrate $+ ks]
    set %mp3size $round($calc($file(%mp3).size / 1048576),2)
    set %bitrate $mp3(%mp3).bitrate
    set %currentmp3 $nopath($remove(%mp3,.mp3))
    resetidle
    }
    alias f8 mp3.random
    alias mp3.random {
    inc %mp3number
    set %mp3 " $+ $findfile(%mp3.dir,*.mp3,$rand(1,$findfile(%mp3.di r,*.mp3,0))) $+ "
    set %mp3.length $remove($replace($duration($calc($mp3(%mp3).length / 1000)),mins,m,min,m,secs,s,sec,s),$chr(32))
    run %mp3
    echo 14* Mp3-Random:[ $nopath($remove(%mp3,.mp3)) ][ $+ %mp3.length $+ / $+ $round($calc($file(%mp3).size / 1048576),2) $+ mb/ $+ $mp3(%mp3).bitrate $+ ks]
    set %mp3size $round($calc($file(%mp3).size / 1048576),2)
    set %bitrate $mp3(%mp3).bitrate
    set %currentmp3 $nopath($remove(%mp3,.mp3))
    resetidle
    }

    after adding that type in /set %mp3.dir C:\YOURMP3\DIRECTORY

    ex: /set %mp3.dir E:\MP3\

    Now when you want to play a random mp3 press your F8 button. this will ONLY echo to yourselves. If you have any issues msg me on irc... I built it for myself and by myself so I'm not completely sure if i made it custom to my machine or not.
