    SuperScroggz: The Return

Hey, what's up. I'm Warner. Now I know what you're thinking: "How can it be a 'return' if no one knew you were away?"

Well, it's a return for me. I've neglected artwork in my life by getting caught up with other things for the better part of the last decade. As a result all the things I thought I'd learned have rusted away over time, as I came to realize when I set out to draw again and for some reason just couldn't make anything work at all.

So rather than feel sorry for myself, I'm going to start over and do it right like I should have always done, beginning with basics and moving forward.

NOTE: This first stuff is going to be horrible. Let's just make peace with that right off the bat. And some will be on lined paper; I can't take real art supplies with me to work, but small, ordinary composition books get a pass.

That said, I'm a big boy and can take crits. I need 'em.

    Here we go.

Full Disclosure: These here are NOT recent images; they're all at least a decade old. I only share them here now to show why I feel I have at least something worth salvaging - and eventually surpassing - if I do the work for it.

Practice with value and texture. Figuring out brushes in Photoshop and Painter; problem solving which brush is best for acheiving which effects. Trying to build confidence and working on stick-to-itiveness.

Followed up by a color experiment. It's a start.
