    An outside host means exactly that - an image host that's not Conceptart.org. Instead of adding the thumbnail with the attachment manager you have to host it on another site (your private domain, photobucket, (both recommended) or imageshack for instance).
    The full image gets added with the attachment manager, however.

    After you uploaded the thumbnail somewhere, you simply add the [IMG] [/IMG] around it and you're done

    I've never really drawn or painted environment, but everyone has to start somewhere D:

    So here's my first WIP about the topic - it has some steampunk-ish humans VS. elves theme:

    Zeppelin rush

    Freaky! After seeing the trailer of Suckerpunch I wanted to draw the zeppelin crashing down. That was a few days ago! So it's a nice topic, this way I got no excuse to not draw a zeppelin!

    Here is a 3d-mockup with some different angles. The image may be to wide/panoramic so I could adjust that later on.

    Good start. You could put some cool steam punk-stuff in there.
    I think the sea is a bit busy at this stage.
    Absorbe
    majestic scene already. Looking forward to see it advance.

    Great topic! So many opportunities!

    Absorber: Lookin neat. Id go with number 6, there you get a nice view over Port Royal, can get some cool details in and the massive air army looks really threatening.

    @JanJager
    If You keep up this way, the second picture could be a winner.

    @Saleem
    Stunning image.

    @Mubanga
    Try to use the empty spaces (upper right, down left) to close your image (giving more importance to the center, aka the city), bringing element of the dogfight on the foreground.

    @aberrant85
    In term of composition, I think the corner on the left is a bit empty in comparison to the right part of Your image. You should try to equilibrate a bit more.
    But I like it so far.

    @Absorber
    Nice compositions so far.
    If You're hesitating, try to invent a story, like who's attacking the other, for what purpose,... It should help You in the choice of the view (on which side would You fight ?). For the rest, it's only drawing.

    @kazerniel
    I want to see what the steampunk harbour will become.

    @chaosrocks
    Nice idea. Lot of potential here...

    And for myself, well, my job is killing me right now, but hopefully, I will have some more time on the week end.
    A few ideas are emerging.

    Zeppelin-chaos

    @ pipobimbo: Thanks for the comment. You are right on the compositions when it comes to the story. I heard that as well from other viewers. I choose the view of the attacker because that is in my opinion the image with the most emotion in it.

    @ aberrant85: As you said both 'styles' have their advantages and combining them is hard. Your on a good track, it feels like a wip to me but I think that is because of the lack of texture and details (like on the rotorblades in the right) I like the way the cloud of the engine on fire is drawn But I think your color scheme is a bit odd. Keep it up!

    @ Mubanga: Good start, I think you should add something in the right corner, or another zeppelin or just change the location of the current one

    @ Saleem: I see a lot of shapes and textures but not really your idea. It feels to calm and happy, not really dogfighty. I know its still a sketch so I hope you can turn something awesome out of it!

    @ Ragnj: Thanks for the comment! I had doubts between 3/4 and 6, indeed 6 has some great citydetails but I wanted to focus on the zeppelin this time so I choose the other. Thanks!

    @ Janjager: Nice angles for sure. Can't wait to see some final designs!

    @ Kazerniel: I think you should play more with your depth, maybe you should bring a green 'elf' in front. Are you painting only with a square brush? Good luck with it and keep it up!

    >>
    About my own: A environment wip, I leave it this way for now because all the zeppelins will take a lot away. I can always adjust it in the end.
    So the zeppelin design is 'finished', now I have to paint it x1000
    I'm off, cheers!
