Navarrot sketchbook / "Se hace camino al andar!"
I'm from Spain so firsdt of all please excuse me about my english mistakes
I've been working as illustrator for 5 years, but there is still so much work to do! And sometimes i feel really lost. I don't know where am i going. But this shouldn't stop me, isn't it.
I'll be posting here almost every sketch or exercice i do. And i really hope to improve and to share knowledge with all of you. Crits and comments appreciatte. Thanks!

This week i'm doing exercices of values in black and white and trying to render more realistic than ussually do.
All these exercices are from reference. Still hard to me to work only from my imagination.
The guy with angry face and beard is Luis Tosar, starring the character called Malamadre in the spanish film "Celda 211" that I really recommend you.

I'm another Spaniard myself I'll write in English so everybody understands, though...
The Luis Tosar exercise looks wonderful, man: just as menacing as the real thing! And I loved the textures in it... Is that Photoshop? The textures are great!
The studies with the girls look fine, quite polished, but I have to agree their faces are a bit off...
Keep those sketches coming, colega!
