I require more information on the actual purpose of these images - what are they concepts of/from? Without a greater understanding of the overall project or aim I cannot fully critique them.
These seem highly derivative of other styles with little understanding of them. The first image Is not clear enough to establish a concept, and I see little understanding of particles and mists and how they affect light - I can take a guess here and say this image is a result of digital techniques you do not fully understand but have seen others use. Seeking a "professional" sheen in your work will not allow you to bypass the acquisition of vital skills such as light/colour theory. The composition is also flawed - the tower, which I assume is meant to be the point of focus, is dwarfed by the rock nearby and the image suffers as a result.

The sketches are unclear, unformed, unshaded and done with little or no reference to real fungi. Without your (superfluous) annotation I would not have been able to distinguish them for what they are supposed to be. I advise looking at images of real fungi and learning the shapes and textures to help define your sketches.

    thanks for the advice

as for the the first piece it was just a sketch of the planet rebuilding itself after a nuclear war and the focal point was the geisha but yeah overall I just trying to understand more about the focal points and composition and the specks of light were suppose to be fireflies

With your description of course it makes much more sense and certain visual elements fall into place - BUT your visual cues and storytelling should accomplished enough to tell this tale without any clumsy verbal exposition.

Too many dark areas going on, makes it hard to read where the foreground/ mid is at. Go to a texture site and find some textures to use for the trees, to push them more. Also, Id say to get rid of the guy, it doesnt make any sense to me. Looks like he's just there to be there.

If you created some sort of creature, Im thinking oddworld type creatures, then you'd have something cool going on.
