Gogo, keep posting ! I think one of the keys to getting better is consistency. If you can just post daily that'd be awesome.

Your sketches are cool, but some of them are blurry because there's so many pencil lines. For example, your sword could have drawn with fewer pencil strokes: making the outline clearer.

    Keep practicing ^ o^!

    Nice start!

I actually dont agree with abijou, the amount of sketchniness you are using is fine, you just need to learn how to clean up your work and polish it, but for the sketching part it is fine.

Keep it up, and try not to be put off by all the "hur hur draw from life copy pasta" that will probably be sent your way, its true but it can get really offputting for new artists .

    Thanks for the encouragement! ^^

I've been doing good by just posting two days in a row, let's see if I can keep it up tomorrow! -fistpump-

Yeah I've been told before I need to practice using fewer strokes, so I'll try that later!

For some reason I feel really awkward when I try doing gesture drawings. :T'
Like super stiff or feel like I'm doing it wrong. I know how it's supposed to be done, I just don't feel like I'm getting the point right....hrm...

If you are having trouble with gestures and flow this might help. Beware there is some mild nudity though .

@Muz: Oh, thanks a ton! I read it over and I'm totally gonna apply that. C:

But for now just a quick upload of something I did this morning for my bf.
    I'll upload some more later.

A request for a friend of mine.
He wanted an animal-human cross, but like...just the torso human and the rest animal.
It's hard to do this right without it looking weird. xD' I'll probably end up doing this over again. @ u@''

Dunno where I was going with this really, but I thought it'd be fun. xD'
Not really sure if this should be observation or imagination, lol.
    Probably both.

Very nice work, your style is quite cute
Keep it up, I especially like the pose on the last one. Good job on drawing a tricky pose like that.

Missed a day (or was it two? :C) due to some blah crap.
A friend said that forcing myself to draw would help me take my mind off it, so that's what I'm gonna start doing.
At least I still have art. C:

I'm liking what I see so far, I'm shamed to say my favourates so far are the WoW-related sketches. xD

So, you're making fine progress I'd say, don't stop the studies and experimentation, especially those interesting poses you've been drawing!
    Keep up the good work!

I think I should go do some value and shade or whatnot studies...esp after this...I don't even know what this is. xD
I was looking in the site and I found a few interesting threads, so I think I'm going to try out what's there.

Maaan I was reading the Lich King's story finally and I really feel sorry for the guy. :c I mean talk about misguided good intentions.

Anyway, tried drawing an apple too but it didn't come out so hot. xD
Pencil is sooo much easier than using a computer sometimes.

I need to draw more, danggit.

Here's a bit from yesterday and the day before. Still need to do stuff for today.
Didn't bother cutting out everything since these were mainly meaningless doodles and spit themselves out. :0

My cat has an odd habit of attacking the printer or sitting on it whenever it scans or prints, then running/rolling around like a crazy thing. He like...loves the thing. :T It's some odd form of catnip for him?
This is irrelevant I suppose, I just found it oddly amusing. o.o

Haven't had net for a bit but recently I've been doing this Iron Artist challenge, which is basically where you open 100 commission slots, except I'm doing it free because everyone likes getting art even if they don't have money for it. c:

But here's a few of them.

Some sketches, I forgot about CA! D:
    How could I? </3

Anyway most of these were from me just fiddling, with the exception of the first anthro. That one I had my friend pose for and drew him, then turned it into his sona.

I found it's easier to draw something if you block in the general pose with the huge marker instead of sketching it first.

way cool stuff man, i'd like to see more of the digitals finished, i think color would make them about 16 times as rad. You have really nice lines in the digitals, but your pencils seem a bit sloppy. what kind of pencil are you using?

I use a regular mechanical pencil. It's messy because I usually draw really small but when you scan it it's bigger, y'know? That and I have a bad habit of going over my lines a lot and it's not easily erased with pencil, so I leave 'em messy.

I was bored at work so I was like, "Hey, give me stuff to draw."

So quick sketched: 1. His character waiting in a room, 2. him myself and my other friend sitting bored on the couch, me leaning on him, 3. me/my character walking through a park with pond and ducks, 4. swap market? Or I dunno what he called it. Flea market but more hip. I guess. :U

Wanted to try something different with coloring. Didn't come out so well, but hey that's what practice is for. c:

Second one I think I took more of a step back than forward trying to figure out the style though. :/
