    Heya Sonia! cool updates haven't been in this sketchbook in awhile.
    Your lines are definitely getting more confident over your sketchbook.
    I dig those Bridgeman studies you did and the markers seem like a cool way to remember muscle shapes.
    The speeds are looking nice maybe rendering more on your focal points could help.
    keep it up!

    How did you get such a big avatar!? I WANT ONE! anyways, the last enviro is looking good so far, it could use more details such as rocks punching thru the ground and more diverting streams of water from that waterfall! Also the horizon is confusing me, we should see more of it given the perspective. keep up

    Edit: Just realized that it was an RR... silly me

    @Parsakoira - I think that the picture I uploaded was just large.. and it didn't resize it correctly to the 'avatar size' it's supposed to be lol =P .. Maybe I should go resize my pic. ..

    And yea it was an RR so not much time to fiddle with it XP But I was having trouble about what to add in it.. it just seems so.. boring and plain. So I'll keep things like that in mind for the next one...

    Thankya Parsa !

    @Sean - Thanks Yea it's a pretty awesome place. You should so go!

    Hey Sonia

    Try to push yourself more! Draw and paint more!
    Still life looks good so far.
    Try to change the background color to some not so saturated color.
    Black is like white, it makes your colors look different

    Keep it up, Silwynar

    @Silwynar - The reason I used black was because that was the color of the background in the pic I referred to was black

    otherwise, I agree with ya about the saturation

    And I'll definitely keep pushin it.. gotta get betteerrrrrrr!!!!!

    Here it is completed..

    very nice job on the fruit !
    Looks tasty!

    U could try to do a background/from life - still life and see if that ends up as good as this one

    Realizing that I'm really rusty at faces.. decided to do some practice. 50 faces on the first page.. then a few on the next, with some random and buggy doodles. Majority of faces from imagination, few photo ref

    Nice to see you practice so hard on the material
    I would suggest drawing a bit larger though :o
    Its a bit harder but will definatly help learning the facial proportions and features.

    Good luck!!

    I agree with RBeek! If you try drawing larger once in a while I think that'll help you a lot because you'll have a lot more space to work on the face and the features rather than trying to scrunch it down small-scale all the time.

    @RBeek
    @Amarok

    Thanks for the suggestion, I completely agree with you. I started to draw a little bigger as I was finishing this page, I'll continue onto the next page with your suggestion in mind.

    Hey Sonia! Great to see that you've pushed on and gotten so much better! The fruits look photo realistic, and your face studies are coming along nicely. Great job =)

    So I havent updated in like a week D:
    I was working so many closing shifts at work and got so busy, I barely had time to think.
    My art buzz had died down for a little bit there.. but I'm back on my feet ! Rawr!!

    >

    Here was a super quick study from a photo just to get something out.. more to come! I'm about to hit my sketchbook hard with some pens and pencils
