tomskie - Thanks, I'm trying to finish fun with a pencil before I move on to something else.
vanaga - Thanks. every time I lose the motivation to draw, I just give up for a few weeks until I get in the mood to draw again, but looking at the links has really helped me stay motivated these past couple of days.
twilightmoon777 - Thanks!
I looked through your sketchbook and it seems like your studies have helped you get a good understanding of the human body that shows in your drawings from imagination. I think it would be great if you went to figure drawing classes (if available to you) so you can apply those studies to real life.
Also keep going with the drawings from life. It would be nice to see more variety in your sketchbook.
Thanks for stopping by Fiskepudding, I got bored of fun with a pencil so I won't be doing that for a while. I might take a look at successful drawing because I'm trying to work on the fundamentals, so thanks for the suggestion.

Hey! Long time no see.
Nice post. Gotta get those basics down. However, let's see some more observational stuff! You did a good job on those last two you posted. Keep em coming and don't be afraid to sign up for that figure drawing class if you can, I think you're ready. You've been ready ever since you decided to start drawing again, so go for it!
been no updates for a while, hope you're still pushing with your studies ;D i'd like to see more.
I think perspective studies are the way to go. One of the big hurdles in learning I know (I still have tons of trouble) is objects in space, and giving form to objects. Looks like your recent studies are heading in the right direction. Just keep cranking them out. It may not even seem like it would help but just those every day objects you sketch every now and then can really help with the process. Keep em comin'
