Thanks for stopping by Fiskepudding, I got bored of fun with a pencil so I won't be doing that for a while. I might take a look at successful drawing because I'm trying to work on the fundamentals, so thanks for the suggestion.

    Hey! Long time no see.

Nice post. Gotta get those basics down. However, let's see some more observational stuff! You did a good job on those last two you posted. Keep em coming and don't be afraid to sign up for that figure drawing class if you can, I think you're ready. You've been ready ever since you decided to start drawing again, so go for it!

Nice studies. Sometimes though, the best way to improve is to forgo the simple stuff. Drawing boxes can only take you so far...jump head first into the "hard stuff" Try out Loomis' figure drawing and head drawing books. They are great, and they're a great way to learn.

I think perspective studies are the way to go. One of the big hurdles in learning I know (I still have tons of trouble) is objects in space, and giving form to objects. Looks like your recent studies are heading in the right direction. Just keep cranking them out. It may not even seem like it would help but just those every day objects you sketch every now and then can really help with the process. Keep em comin'

Psychobuddy - Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be doing some loomis stuff later today.

JFierce - Thanks, I hope I can keep cranking these studies out without getting bored and not drawing for a month.

Some stuff I forgot to post the other day. And a failed attempt at 3-point perspective.
