Never Attempt the Possible;attempt the impossible and even if you fail,you'll fall among the stars.
bright and early in the morning sketch. roughly 45 mins spent on it. messing around with brushes. I stilly have a messy look because I do not keep consistent with my brushes. Construction could be a little better and more solidified. Maybe Ill add more detail to it later or do more fish sketches. Weird Fishes.

This morning I received my INTUOS 4 (Lrg) GRAPHIC TABLET!!!!!!!! Wooooot! The game has just begunnn! I also went to my first art group meeting called The Pixel Push. Even though it was a small group, I learned a lot from it and got to hear people's experiences. We shared each others sketchbooks and works. Gave feed back and had art/career discussions. It was an awesome time! If your in the east coast give some consideration to attend the next group meet. Here is a link to the group's page http://www.meetup.com/the-pixel-push
Have a great night folks and stay in tune for more sketches
You have some fine studies here keep up the good work!
thx for stopping by my sketchbook, i like the fluidity of your sketching, and good to see you doing some studies :] most of all i like the experimenting with the color on the sphere, kinda cool. i personally am a lazy shit wen it comes to anything but yeah;
a decent recomendation is maybe try making a short comic strip? so that you can explore various Humerous elements with purpose. it wud make a nice finished piece too!
Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. You have a neat style, kinda graffiti-ish. Keep up those studies and I think your stuff will be really dynamic.
"This is a paint and pixel-splattered furnace that forges the swords of artistic mastery. This is a place where swarthy and belligerent dwarves drink turpentine mead, berate their apprentices and slap the trade into their skulls. It's where the anvils are made of graphite, the hammers are as true as rectangular marquee selections and the fires burn with the light of a thousand lensflares." --Jason Rainville
@ mike butkus, I feel honored hearing those words from you! Thankss.
@Providenc, thanks! Yea I need to make more finished work. I cant focus on a work for that long so i quit and move to the next sketch. I will try to build on my bad focusing habits. But yea I will def try to get some sort of mini sketched out comic posted on here in the near future.
@wooden mango, np! thanks for stopping by also! I was shocked when you said you used a mouse! awesome work for a mouse! Ahh I never noticed that my sketches looked kind of graffitish! Thanks for pointing it out!
here is an update. I am currently going mad with sketching and learning techniques! spending anywhere from 5-10 hrs on art work. Waking up anywhere 5-6 am and getting my butt pumping! Its really tough! I plan to do this for the next 3 months. I know I will see great changes in my work for sure! Just in the past 4 days of my new schedule, I have noticed a lot of improvement, but not enough! I have a bigger image for myself in the near future so I plan to live it! I copied some concept artist's sketches or changed it up so i get experience drawing in different styles. so if you see anything from yours sketchbook and do not wish to have it up, please notify me. there are not that many copied ones but there are some here and there. a lot more sketches to come

So today I hosted my first sketch group for a group called The Pixel Push. The event was called on short notice so no one showed up at first. I still had a blast sketching! Later on my friend/ founder of the group arrived. We chill for 2 hrs and sketched and shared ideas. I plan to host sketch groups on a weekly basis! Keeps me focused and motivated. Here are some sketches/studies from yesterday and today's sketch meet up. enjoy
