I am an aspiring writer and hope to one day have a published comic, hopefully by a reputable publisher. All I keep hearing about this industry is how hard it is and how often people get rejected, but I keep asking myself as to why publishing companies accept story submissions and yet so many people are getting rejected?

Is there a deeper reason behind this? Do you have a better chance of being accepted is you submit your story with sequential art work? And if you have are accepted, what happens next? Is there a waiting list before your work is released or does it move rather quickly?

Please get back to me as soon as you can with all the details.

Thanks,
J-Mazz
