    wow! thanks.
weird how I find it hard to relate colour photos with the past. I had to keep reminding myself that they weren't just people dressed up in the present while looking at those!

Damned 90s! The furnitures, the clothes, the films ---they all combined such lovely colours! Truly amazing!

Wait, the world wasn't black and white then?! Very cool links, it really does give them more reality seeing them in color.

Thank you so much for posting this - I find them fascinating.

There was a documentary in the UK a while ago called '1930's in colour'. That was amazing too - it's mostly home & tourist videos of mostly Europe just before World War II began.

These are superb! i love the look of the pictures i much prefer them to modern super clear photography.

just in case you didnt know theres a iphone app that recreates the effect quite well, its called Hipstamatic/

these are a few picks i took in Vietnam last month just to demonstrate (note there blurred because i was crap and didnt realise the lens opening time thing was longer than on normal camera mode and i only really checked thumbnails, alas ! crappy recordings forever!

I wish the Canon T2i I've been using could produce that kind of grain and color. They all have such a soft glow to it.
