    pricing for editorial illustration?

    Hi,

Anybody can give me an advice regarding pricing for different editorial illustrations for print? Like caricatures or spot illustrations for magazines and newspapers? Or is there a link on the market price/guidelines in pricing comissioned art for these types of publication? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Inton,

You may want to check out a book called THE GRAPHIC ARTISTS GUILD PRICING AND ETHICAL GUIDLINES. It should have all the info you are looking for. Some people say their prices are unreasonably low, others say unreasonably high -- but it should get you in the ball park.
