Sketchocalypse now - The Ru-Nisher chronicles
I must admit that I visited conceptart pretty rarely,
but I hope you people follow me on my journey of becoming a better artist
and maybe even a better person ;-)
I will update this sketchbook with new studies and WIPs as often as possible
There we go^^ Somehow the most of my works are not finished and sort of WIPīs^^
This is a study comandante Spengler
And some hands

Nice studies, I like your colors and hand studies. A little remark - hands look too short on the first pic, and try to make things and parts of the body that are closer to us more contrast, and vice versa - far objects will be less saturated and less defined. What about background for last picture - try to use simple gray till you decide what you want to see there. Hope it helps a little
I'd appreciate if you visit my SB sometimes

Good start, I like your studies, especially the "short" one Keep it up!

@in2eternity: Thank you very much, you helped me a lot!
@pixel cheetah: yes sir!
hey guys I prepared a grid to simplify my work with vanishing points
Itīs a Illustrator file you can use it in Photoshop and put one on the screen for every vanishing point^^
it will be a smart object so the quality stays the same all the time^^

Hah, why have I failed to comment here? XD
Sorry about that...
Anyway, your studies are pretty good!
Since I'm a n00b I don't have much to say there XD
Hm, I guess I'd like to see you working with some colourful concepts maybe~ Some fantasy bgs or something... dunno... surprise me! XD
And the grid looks helpful ^-^ I had another one but I'll try using this~

Revision of the essential basics is crucial
So here I go with some revision of the head. About the half is from imagination^^
PS: A little game. The first one who can guess wich of the eyes is mine wins a free portrait of himself ^^

Hey, some more study stuff. Hard to stay motivated and concentrating on practicing not only trying to create art out of nothing. Sometimes I feel like Iīm acting as if Iīm already an artist, and people hate me for that, so I try not to bother anybody with my progress...well, Iīm actually loading up stuff so itīs not totaly private.
And thats a 3D Head Iīve created with Mudbox, so I can draw it from different angles.

Yay finished page --- (I donīt know) of my Manga "SPLIT"
Itīs not finished yet, background and details are still missing.
It looks better on real paper...my scanner sucks, anyway
the guy on the top is Shiro -----
He is about to learn some lessons and kick some ass.
I donīt know if I should upload a chapter a once or each page separately...weīll see.

Itīs funny that I visit my sketchbook all the time, even if Iīm sure there are no comments....hoping somebody finds it accidently XD
Interesting to see my own progress. especially the radical change in the last 2 pictures
At first I didnīt like the theme, but after a while I got into it and it was fun. In the end I decided to renew the cocept and voila, there it is^^
