Sketchocalypse now - The Ru-Nisher chronicles

    Hey folks,
I must admit that I visited conceptart pretty rarely,
but I hope you people follow me on my journey of becoming a better artist
and maybe even a better person ;-)
I will update this sketchbook with new studies and WIPs as often as possible
There we go^^ Somehow the most of my works are not finished and sort of WIP´s^^

It´s a WIP based on my studies. I want this piece to be as realistic as possible.
Still I don´t want to mess it up with a shitty background. Can you help me to find a good one?

Nice studies, I like your colors and hand studies. A little remark - hands look too short on the first pic, and try to make things and parts of the body that are closer to us more contrast, and vice versa - far objects will be less saturated and less defined. What about background for last picture - try to use simple gray till you decide what you want to see there. Hope it helps a little
I'd appreciate if you visit my SB sometimes
    Good luck!

@in2eternity: Thank you very much, you helped me a lot!

    @pixel cheetah: yes sir!

hey guys I prepared a grid to simplify my work with vanishing points
It´s a Illustrator file you can use it in Photoshop and put one on the screen for every vanishing point^^

it will be a smart object so the quality stays the same all the time^^

Hah, why have I failed to comment here? XD
    Sorry about that...
Anyway, your studies are pretty good!
    Since I'm a n00b I don't have much to say there XD
Hm, I guess I'd like to see you working with some colourful concepts maybe~ Some fantasy bgs or something... dunno... surprise me! XD
And the grid looks helpful ^-^ I had another one but I'll try using this~

It´s a WIP based on a sketch by Miyuli. Sadly I started it a long time ago and it´s stil not finished ^^° But I think I will finish it soon.

I am totally frustrated. The more I work on that the more I feel like moving backwards
It´s like this all the time, only because I don´t know what to do next. My aim was a realistic piece but all I can do is semi-realism
