    Unpublished Fantasy MMO Concept Art

Long time no post. Here's a small chunk of concept art I did a while back. The game was never released because the studio shutdown prematurely. It was a fantasy MMO with no name... Obviously, I'm not a big fan of art just disappearing with a studio, so I'm posting whatever I could salvage. I'll see if I can get more up later. Cheers!

Great work Britt! Really nice style.

It's a shame this didn't make it to production.

Great stuff. Love your colouring on these, a real sense of 'fun' menace.

Can't wait to see what else you can salvage.

yoooee- Should have seen the game...It looked great. I'll see if I can get some walkthroughs from the world builders.

village idiot- Thanks man. Unfortunately this will probably be all the concept art I post. However, my buddy Zebs has a bunch of character concepts. I'll see if I can get him to post his stuff, too.

    Demo- Thank you.

Hey these are awesome! I like your concept designs of the environment and the style that I can see in the drawings. You create atmosphere well with the use of colour, awesome.

I was primarily the creature and character concept artist on this MMO project. I wasn't able to get much of my character work but I do have quite a bit of the stuff I designed in terms of the creatures for the game. Hope you like them.

Damn dudes, this stuff is very polished. The models especially look very clean. The styled textures really bring them to life. The art reminds me of 2 games, Fable and The Secret World. You all deserve props for these.

I just checked out your site, I had no idea you were at Red Dust Studios, I applied there maybe a few weeks ago, Im in vegas as well. I don't know what this game was about, but it looks like it was going to be very cool, art wise atleast.

Do you sketch in marker and pen? If so then props! Your industrial design is tight. You shouldn't have any problem landing somewhere.

thescala- Thanks man. Vegas weather is killin' me this summer ;p

    kingkostas- Cheers!

conceptartist- Thank you. For the most part, I used maker and pen. There's a few pencils in there, as well. My partner in crime, Zebz, used pencil and digital for his characters.

Well, it seems like they hired the right people. It's a shame this was never finished, but you guys have some great portfolio stuff from it, I suppose.

    Awesome work guys!

These were done by our super talented character modeler, John Shuman. These ZBrush models were based of my character/creature concepts that you see above. I don't have all the concepts for the stuff he has modeled here below though. Check out his site by clicking here.

Overtow- The textures were done by the Almighty Casey Dockendorf and the Great Phill Belanger. Both very cool guys that did great work.

Quigleyer- It's true, we did get some portfolio pieces out of it, but what you see here is just a small piece of what we created. Didn't get a chance to save the files we thought were truly portfolio worthy, but I guess something's better than nothin'.

Beelow- Thanks . I agree, Casey should post some of his work. Sorry things didn't work out.

Zebz- It's good to see John's models again. He is a Zbrush master.

Does that mean the company owns them and won't allow you to use them? I thought it was common practice to allow an artist work for portfolio use if he/she actually created it.

Bummer. There's NO way to get it?

How long did you guys work on this? MMO s require a bitch ton of work, huh?

There is some really great and unique work in here, I wish you guys had some in game footage too, looks like all this would make a nice world. Sucks that the project got trashed.
