I really like the texture you have going here. And that cover is coming along quite nicely, although parts of his head look a bit rough where edges meet. Not sure how far finished you are with the head.

I'm curious what this particular technique is that you mentioned...do you have a link or some more info on what part of his technique you're trying to apply?

Thanks Fukifino i am starting to move around and work on more then just the head so i still have work to do on it. For techniques i am trying to get the banged oldish metal look. it is kind of hard though, this bday bot reminds me of a green olive.... and thanks again

Well, it's hard to see on the small robot picture, but the banged up metal texture is definately the impression I got from your "olive." Is there a shortcut Imphead uses to achieve this technique or are you just trying to get his results on your bot?

I don't know of any shortcuts he might be using, bu i am just trying to find my own way to achieve the look i want. right now i am using a custom guache brush i made and sharp chalk. i am also messing with there attributes and opacities, just seeing what i can do. if you want later tonight i will post a close up of the robot so you can see the texture, and tell me if i am achieving the look i want.
