    Photoshop is acting weird, help?

until recently my photoshop cs4 has been fine, but now.. whenever im not on 12.5, 25, 50, or 100% zoom all the edges are really sharp and it looks like an 8bit game.. how can i set it back to the way it was were it kept all the edges smooth no matter what zoom i was at?

I only have PS 7.0 so I'm not sure if I'm any help but I think it was always like that. It's vectoring programs like Illustrator that keeps the images smooth. Again, I could be wrong because I haven't used a different version of PS in a while.

EDIT: Arg. The typos make me sound like a lolcat.

This might be the problem but I could be wrong. CS4 added the improved anti-aliasing feature on all zoom levels, which is what you've been enjoying until now. I think that this feature is part of the open-GL drawing features. It's possible that your open-GL drawing features somehow turned off or became disabled, this has happened to me before (I don't know why) you just have to turn them back on. Go into Preferences, then the Performance tab. You should see a checkbox to enable Open-GL drawing. If this isn't the problem, I don't know what to tell you.
