    Till my fingers bleed!

    Hello dudes, I'm Gil "Peonso" Henriques from Brasil.

    I got a cliche story for you guys, surfing on internet I realised I don't knew anything about drawing. I love to doodle on class, but comparing what I do with what I see on internet, it seams trash. ConceptArt.org was a burst of inspiration and now I need to move my ass, grab a pencil and start to put some effort on it. I will start with Loomis and anatomy, some 2B and HB pencils and printer paper, wish me luck!

    Hi Peonso, it is a good start, keep it up! There are other Loomis books available on the internet (like: Figure Drawing for all it's Worth by Andrew Loomis) with a bit of a search you can find them. Image size, etc is OK, my only advice would be to focus on identifying basic shapes and forms before going into the details.

    Cool work, you got there... I am exactly on the same boat as you; the more I discover artworks out there, the more painful are the slaps I get on the face. But dude! How inspiring it is! I guess it is really time to pull the fingers out, and "make'em bleed" !!! (after wash!)
    I am with you on Loomis studies, I just got few of his books on the net lately (haven't started yet), but if you are ok we could exchange our experiences and sketches...

    Anyway, keep on the good work, work your ass off and good luck!

    The portrait of the girl is really cute! Don't let the blood from your fingers drip on your artwork though! Keep posting here in concept art because it would really motivate you!

    Sick anatomy sketches - I really like the line control on the muscle fibers. Well done - keep it up!

    Dig your studies, especially the perspective ones.

    Those people on the internet are really good right? Oh the nightmares, now we got to work harder! Bring on the pain!

    Hello there! Some really nice studies so far, reminds me I need to work on persepective myself... but anyways!

    Those last anatomy studies are my fave so far, the pencil work is really smooth on them. You're onto a real good start, keep up the good work mate.

    Ah, nice batch of drawings there.
    Out of the poses, the falling person really caught my attention.

    Anyways, keep up the good work.

    @Naidy
    Thx! The pose was refered from someone's sckethbook (can't remember whom).

    Working on hands, Loomis don't give me much on this issue, so I moved to Bridgman.
