    Paintover of malakuko's image.

There's something quite disconcerting and eerie about the design of your character that i'm really diggin, almost like something out of a dream.

You did a real good job on the face, all i've done is just simplify details because as a whole it felt a bit over worked and confusing, also bumped saturation up a bit because it was looking a little dull in the darker areas. Try and play with bouncing light and hold back from using black for shadows if you can.

until now my Father Time looked like some ordinary old man walking...
My concept is detached from standard symbols of western culture and has a more natural approach. I hope it still counts. Can hardly show that in the image, but if he stands those plants will grow higher (maybe even trees) and ground will wither...

Is that too far from the assignment?

Zeitwolf - The long arms were a choice, I dont want to use the general proportions of a man because I want the piece to seem unreal. I did beef up the legs though!
Baron Impossible - Really nice man! I love your work, I remember years ago seeing it on CGsociety and wanted to oil paint haha
Rusty - My first paint over And who better to do it! Its funny you mention the dream, thats what I was going for, glad it came across. All of your suggestions really helped. I used to always paint very unsaturated, I guess its creeping back haha. I like what you did with the face! I kept mine the same but I did tone down alot of the details which hopefully draws the viewer more into the eyes.

I think im done! But just because I cant think of anything else to fix doesnt neccesarily mean im done heh.
