    Tom's sketchbook! Ostroponis learns to draw...

    im pretty new here and ive been looking at these forums and thought i would start as you guys give such great help and support to alot of artists

    im currently studying anatomy and trying to improve in my own time, as my school doesnt have anatomy classes -.-'
    but hey i like doing it in my own time anyway aha


    crits are of course welcome and they mean so much to me and will push me further

    Nice work, seriously. Even in the few posts you've got up here I can see the progression, you're on the track to some good things I think.

    Hey, great work, keep practising. It always pays.

    Just keep in mind that proportions are important as well. When you're doing line studies, keep that in mind, try to approach the body as a whole, a mass. Look for that negative space.

    I havnt drawn much at all today because i was seeing a friend that i dont see often at all, but ive managed to finish off that sketch for H.K !, thank you for all your support!. i might even buy a scanner

    jeah , frustration sucks, but never stop drawing if you r frustrated (:
    just draw more !

    and draw different stuff, that helps a lot

    hm if u want i could mail u some nice links (: with tips, motivation and inspiration hehe

    digi times = good times

    whilst i was painting my little finger curled in without my control and locked, it really worried me after i had cracked it back, and when i rest it on a flat surface it curls over, any idea whats wrong?





    So all that aside. I thought i would go all digital today, didn't pay off , but i learnt a hell of alot about painting and how inconsistent i am
